This article will walk you through steps to take as you run into technical troubles with both LocalArt iOS App and LocalArt Android App. Do try each step fully and only move on to the next if you continue to experience troubles after following the step before.
For iOS1. Ensure that you are running the latest version of the app.
- To do this, open the App Store on your phone, then tap Updates, and look to see if there is an update for the LocalArt app. If there is an update available, please update it to the latest version and try again. We regularly update the iOS app to fix issues and release new features.
2. Remove the app for your device entirely and reinstall.
- If you’re still having trouble, delete the app from your device entirely, and reinstall it through the App Store. This will make sure you have a clean install and will refresh the link between LocalArt and your Apple device.
- Delete the app on your iPhone by holding on the app’s icon for a couple of seconds (hold until the icons start to wiggle), then tap the x in the top left corner of the app icon, then tap Delete. Be assured, your data will be saved.
- To reinstall the app, launch the App Store app.
- Search for the LocalArt app and tap the Download button to reinstall it. Wait for the app to download and install. Once the app is reinstalled, please log in and try again.
3. Perform a force restart on your device
- If you’re still experiencing problems, try performing a hard restart on your iPhone. Rest assured you will not lose any of your data. To hard restart, follow these instructions depending on which iPhone model you have.
- Once you’ve done a hard restart on your Apple mobile device, open the LocalArt App again to see if the issue is resolved. When you open the LocalArt app, you’ll need to login again using your LocalArt account credentials.
