What is a condition report and how do I request one?

A condition report is an evaluation of the current physical state of an artwork. It summarizes any of the artwork’s defects, including but not limited to: dents, wrinkles, cracks, creases, tears, staining, pinholes, yellowing/discoloration, mold, etc.
Condition reports can come as detailed PDFs, or can simply be a statement such as “In excellent condition.”
If a condition report is readily available, it will be listed in the “About the work” section on each lot page. If it’s not already listed, please email us. contact@yourlocalart.com.sg with title “Request condition report” and a Specialist will provide a report.
